Backup
In productionMail, SharePoint and OneDrive backed up to object storage on a resumable engine, plus endpoint backup through the agent — and a monthly drill that proves a restore works rather than assuming it.
Measured: 223,307 backup runs completed in production.
What it does
- Microsoft 365 mail, SharePoint and OneDrive, sliced and resumable so a large mailbox does not restart from zero.
- Endpoint backup through the Atlas agent to Backblaze B2.
- A coverage rule per client, so a mailbox nobody added is a visible gap rather than a silent one.
- Monthly automated restore drills, with optional write-back into a quarantine folder to prove the data actually lands.
- Per-client cost and margin, because backup is the line item most often sold at a loss by accident.
What it does not do
- Restore is available for mail and SharePoint. Granular OneDrive restore is thinner.
- Egress from the backup engine is the largest infrastructure cost in the platform, and it is priced into the per-user fee rather than billed through.
What it replaces
- A third-party M365 backup subscription
Included in the single per-user price. No per-module or per-endpoint add-ons.
